Community Giving
In October, 2019, 112 players from 18 universities participated in our second annual ITA fall tournament, the River City Tennis Open, presented by Lowe, Brockenbrough & Company. The three-day event took place at the Collegiate School Williams-Bollettieri Tennis Center and featured 12 championship courts and 1 stadium court.
The River City Tennis Foundation Directors, Wes Atiyeh and Houston Barrick (Head Men’s Tennis Coach, University of Richmond), raised both awareness and money, and the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Richmond became our main charitable partner. Thanks to 25 tournament sponsors, we raised $18,000 for the local club! We are looking forward to a continued partnership with the Boys and Girls Club in the future along with Collegiate School, Mezeh, Dominion Energy Charity Classic, Reynolds Development, and ESPN Radio 106.1
Since 2019, the River City Tennis Foundation (RCTF) has raised over $30,000 for youth charities in Richmond. Your generous donation is integral to our cause, supporting the love of tennis and making a meaningful impact in our community. Thank you for your support!
